Local & State Advocacy

Every January NMPS hosts a Legislative dinner for our members.  This is the time to hear from our New Mexico state legislators about the healthcare topics they find important that will impact you, your patients, and your practice. The dinner invitation and registration is sent to all NMPS members via email.

Make sure you have joined NMPS and your information is correct to stay informed and involved.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is actively advocating for children's health year round. Topics include Community Access to Child Health (CATCH), Community Pediatric Training Initiative (CPTI), and Council on Community Pediatrics (COCP), health care access and coverage, vaccines, online protections for youth, and more!
